I give advice to company directors in a small island in the Canaries and we deal with a unique set of problems. Some of the most important issues being that we are a log way from the mainland and so resident expertise, materials and goods all have to be imported. There are also a whole bunch of bureacratic challenges that owners of businesses have to deal with. Despite this it is a lovely place to live and its a small price to pay for some inconvenience. The internet is invaluable...
